Our Fixed Income Dealing Offerings
Fixed Term Investment Portfolio (FIX-TIP)
This is a short-term placement of funds with a guarantee on capital plus a pre-agreed rate of return tied to the prevailing money-market rates.
Nigerian Treasury Bills
These are discounted, short-term securities issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria and guaranteed by the Federal Government of Nigeria. They are issued in tenors of 91 days, 182 days and 364 days at auctions that take place fortnightly.
Bond Investments
This is a long-term debt instrument issued by an entity (company or government) that has evidence of a "promise to pay" and duration is usually more than one year. Interest payments, which are called coupon payment; are commonly made every 6 months (semi-annual basis). The principal repayment is made in lump-sum at maturity.
